Most importantly though is the sound quality and performance on the Intempo IDS-05B. It is more than capable of providing good audio performance with its total sound output of 15 watts via the two 3 watt stereo speakers and a 9 watt subwoofer. There is distinct sound separation and ample bass quality and tininess is not a problem with the speakers, and there is no noticeable distortion in the sound output even when the volume is cranked high. The Intempo IDS-05B is great performer able to fill the room with great quality sound at sufficient volume.
At the back of the unit you will be able to find the control for the volume. Also, the back side is where you will be able to find the line for the power, the 3.5 mm line in, USB ports, and a subwoofer to provide, surprisingly, good reinforcement for the bass sound. The built-in dock will play and charge your iPod and the USB port is a good addition as this will be able to let you sync your iTunes on compatible iPods. And with the line in, even if you don’t have an iPod, you will be able to use the unit with other compatible devices.
